This project developed a countertop assistive hand-washing device using a motorized brush, IR sensors, a drying fan, and a water collection system housed in an acrylic enclosure. Testing showed strong performance in usability, reliability, portability, cost, and manufacturability, with 70% hygiene effectiveness; the only missed metric was the scrap-rate cost target.
